What are the system requirements to run the ViewdataPlus?
|
The system requirements for running the ViewdataPlus are:
- Microsoft Windows (95, 98, ME, NT, 2000 or XP)
- Microsoft Internet Explorer version 5.0 or greater.

When will the ViewdataPlus be available for other browsers?
|
ViewdataPlus is only available for Internet Explorer for the moment. The implementation of the ViewdataPlus with other browsers will be developed in the future.

Do AOL browser users can install the ViewdataPlus?
|
The ViewdataPlus can only be installed on Microsoft Internet Explorer version 5.0 or greater for the moment.

Why do some users get an ActiveX error message when trying to install the ViewdataPlus?
|
Your Internet security settings might be on High. This setting will prevent ActiveX controls from running. To install the ViewdataPlus, you must have ActiveX controls enabled. To do this, follow these simple steps:
- From your browser, select Tools > Internet Options
- Click on the Security Tab
- Click on the Internet icon in the window
- Change security setting to Medium
- Click OK
- Or you may try to reinstall the ViewdataPlus.

If the user is running Windows NT or Windows 2000, he has to check with his system administrator that he has the administrative privileges required to install applications.

|
The ViewdataPlus has an auto-update system. Users are notified when an update is made to the toolbar's DLL. To ensure a flawless update, a warning is issued if more than one instance of Internet Explorer is opened.

How do I un-install ViewdataPlus?
|
Un-Installation is very easy. You can remove it by going to the control panel in Windows and selecting Add/Remove Programs. Locate the ViewdataPlus program and choose un-install.

Can the user change the Auto Logon to the Viewdata host?
|
The admin section provides admin users with the ability to change the ABTA number and password for each host. This will allow an automatic logon to the Viewdata host.

Is it possible to change the location of the ViewdataPlus in Internet Explorer?
|
From your browser, make sure that "Lock the toolbars" on "View > Toolbars" is not checked. Once done, you can move the ViewdataPlus by grabbing it with the mouse and moving it elsewhere.

- From your browser, click View > Toolbars
- Un-select the ViewdataPlus option from the list displayed.
